Week 6 in Beijing!

Dear friends,
I am returning home to Singapore on 16th July 2010. Time flies so fast and Beijing has been so wonderful to all of us here at BITC! I will miss the food (especially the local food, amazing shanghai & jap food! omgg! its more lovely than singapore's), great companion (BITC Buddies), SHOPPING (they have a zillion of paragons and takashimayas, and wismas! - i m not even lying! LOL! ++ the market places that I could bargain like heck! :P), the weather (minus the hot days) and EVERYTHING ABOUT BEIJING!!!!!! =D I will come by again, definitely! ^___^ and Thanks for having me!!! :D

Can't wait to be back to Singapore! I miss my family, my dogs, my bed, my friends etcetc. I have gotten some gifts for my homies but I guess I have to pack and see which ones to gift. hahahaha.

Week 2 and Week 3!! (Been pretty C R A Z Y!)

Dear all. I guess this would be a very long boring post because I am very bored nowwww. X( Hahaha. Okay, well, I decided to blog now because I am almost done with the tasks this week and I have time to blog ! You guys have been waiting for a long long time for a post from me and what I have been up to. I am so sorry, either I am always too tired after a long day at school or simply I am just lazy. hahahaha X) okay enough of this super lame-makes-no-sense introduction, we should all get to business!!! :DDDD

Okay sooo hows everyone doing? I have been living it well here in China, Beijing. My parents came to visit last week and I am so glad to see them. (YAY!). I met them a couple of nights and brought some friends along. We had great dinners and went shopping together. =D Well, I should say its so different to shop here than in Singapore. Maybe when you are in the Overseas and do not really care how much the items cost. You would just buy it if you like it. Haha -coughs MOM-. X/ LOL. Okay on a random note, how I wish my mom brought my doggies over. I MISS THEM SO SO MUCH!!!!! I can't wait to go back to Singapore. heh...in like 17 days (I think!).

I have so much to write but probably need sometime to process some stuff because it happened in the last weeks and stuff so, I couldnt really remember of any significant events, but the days here are exciting and challenging I suppose. L O L. X)

To make my Singapore friends a little jealous on me (bahahaha). I shall tell you more about the tours we had the past weeks and the weeks to come! Its been so fun & enjoyable touring around Beijing. There are many historical sites we went, such as the Grand Palace, Summer Palace, Forbidden City, Great Wall of China, Tian Jin, Tian Tan (Heavenly Temple) and other places of attractions in Beijing (their Orchard/Bugis Areas, Art Exbitions (like Esplanade) are A W E S O M E. =D The following weeks attractions are leisure at Bei Hai, Beijing Zoo and Happy Valley.

I guess theres not much to write. Ohhhh and also, we had a friendly basketball match with the school here in Beijing yesterday. We lost by only 2 points but it was a really close fight. During one of the quarters, we were leading by a mile of 7 points. We were so happy though and kept cheering haha!! :) NYP should be really proud of themselves!!! :D We've done well even though it was a close fight and almost a close win! :D

Our dear teacher, Mr Chua, who is with us for the past 3 weeks, is leaving us today to go back to Singapore. We will miss him and how much we appreciate him taking great care of us in Beijing. He is a great teacher and we can't wait to see him back in Singapore. We had a final lunch before his flight. Safe trip back, dear Mr Chua. WE WILL MISS YOU! :)

I shall stop talking (typing) right now! & will leave you photos way over-dued. (OOPS!). Cheers and I will TTYS! (Talk to you soooooon :))))

my first 2 days in BITC!

hello friends,

its been a crazy 2 days (living w/o my mommy and daddy) alone in beijing.

we arrived in bj almost midnight and around 1 plus am when we reached the campus. the principal was there to pick us up. :) and yeah, we had supperrr! too tired to eat though. the plane ride was okay, with a few turbulances and stuff but the food is aint that bad. i sat at the window seat with nic and alex! ^__^ i have taken some clouds pictures, to share with all pretty soon!

after we reached the hostel, drama happened.. LOL. my room cards are not working, my main door and toilet doors are not working. almost got locked in from the toilet....X( how scary right. i thought i was going to sleep in the toilet for the night. but obviously i managed to force it through. Hahaaa. managed to sleep through the night comfortably.

today was just orientation day and the school gave us a warmth welcome and introduced us to the school compound & everything :))) the campus is pretty huge i must say. haha. my room view is like a pasture of grasses & flowers (okay...)
we are dismissed at around 3 plus for school today and slacked till its dinner time.

we had a nice dinner with a few nice dishes (peking duck, some appetizers, prawns, milk dessert thing, rice and another duck dish)...at jin man lou or something. only costs 6bucks $S. haha, hmm. :3 one thing i dont really like is, this restaurant or should i say most of the restaurants here allow customers to smoke in there. so when i got back home, my shirt really stink badly! X(

after dinner, we went as a whole grp to get our sim cards and we got knocked off by quite a sum of money. many of us are pissed. some china people are really gosh. X___X we didnt lose much but a lesson to learn to be more aware and alert in the future.
